How it works
Everything a good sales development rep does, without the hiring
Set-up: about twenty minutes
- 1
Sign up and verify your business
Your company name, website and registration number. Atom checks the company exists and the website matches.
- 2
Atom reads your business
From your website it builds a profile: what you sell, who to, your proof points and how you sound.
- 3
You approve who to target
Sectors, size, region and the job titles of decision makers, plus who to leave alone, such as competitors and existing customers.
- 4
You approve how Atom writes
Shown as real example emails, not settings: openings, the main message, the call to action, answers to common objections and a list of things it must never say.
- 5
Connect your accounts
Mailbox and calendar (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or another provider) and your CRM (Pipedrive or HubSpot), by signing in or with your own key.
- 6
Atom builds its sending set-up
Separate sending domains that point to your website, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set and checked before anything is sent.
- 7
Atom imports who to avoid
Existing customers, open deals and anyone marked do not contact are read from your CRM so they are never cold emailed.
- 8
Go live
Volume rises slowly as the new mailboxes warm up. You get a short daily summary and a note for every meeting booked.
The two approvals are the one deliberate human step. They protect your brand and are your record that Atom may write on your behalf.
Who does what
Research
Finds companies that fit, checks ownership and size, and finds the right person and a verified email address.Writer
Writes the first email and each follow-up, personal to that company, in your approved voice.Sequencer
Decides when to send and from which mailbox, within daily limits. Plain code, not AI, so its rules always hold.Reply
Reads every reply within minutes, works out what kind it is, and answers, books, hands to you or removes the person.Booking
Finds free times in your calendar, offers them, and books the meeting with a video link.Learning
Reviews what worked each week and adjusts openings, timing and calls to action, inside the limits you approved.
What Atom does with each reply
- Interested
- Offers two or three real times and books the one they choose.
- A question
- Answers from your approved playbook, then returns to the call to action.
- An objection
- Answers once from your objection playbook. Never argues, and never more than two follow-ups after any objection.
- Not now
- Asks when to come back, then waits until then.
- Wrong person
- Thanks them, asks who looks after it, and approaches that person.
- Out of office
- Waits until they are back.
- Unsubscribe or hostile
- Removes them at once and for good, from every mailbox.
- Anything else
- Hands it to a named person on your team, with the thread and a suggested reply.
Trust is earned, one kind of reply at a time
Shadow
Atom drafts the reply and tells you. If you do nothing within the set time, it sends. You can edit or take over first.Autonomous
After a run of replies of that kind with no edits or complaints, Atom replies straight away.Back to shadow
If you edit or override a reply, or a complaint arrives, that kind of reply goes back to drafts automatically.
