Privacy notice

Atom is a Damteq product. Damteq owns it, runs it day to day and is responsible for it (registered company details and contact address to be confirmed). This notice explains what personal data Atom handles and why.

If you join the waitlist

We keep your name, work email, company and, if you give it, your website, so we can contact you about Atom. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We will not add you to marketing lists or share your details. Ask us to delete them at any time.

If you have an Atom account

We keep your name, email address, sign-in details (your password is stored only as a secure hash) and a record of what you do in Atom, to run the service and keep it secure. Atom emails you about your account and, if you choose, about your company's activity; you choose which under Your account. If your company pays for Atom, Stripe handles the payment and Atom never sees your card details.

If Atom contacted you on behalf of a business

  • The business that contacted you is the controller of your data. Damteq processes it for them.
  • We hold your name, job title, work email and company, gathered from public business sources and data providers.
  • Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Using it stops all contact from that business at once and for good.
  • You can ask where your data came from, for a copy, or for it to be deleted. A person handles every such request.

Where data is kept

In the UK by default. Each customer’s data is kept separate from every other customer’s.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, and you can object. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
