Pausing all sending

One click stops every email, including ones already queued.

Pause all sending is at the top of every screen. Anyone in your company can press it, at any time, for any reason.

What happens

  • Every email stops at once, including ones already waiting to go.
  • Atom keeps reading replies, so nothing is missed.
  • Emails that were stopped stay held.

Starting again

Only an owner can resume sending. Emails held while sending was paused are not sent automatically: an owner reviews and releases them on the Controls page, and each one is checked again in full before it goes.
