Plans and billing
Choosing a plan, what it includes, how meetings are charged and managing payments.
Choosing a plan
Open Billing in the menu and choose a plan. Only owners can. Atom takes you to Stripe, which handles the payment securely; Atom never sees your card. Some plans start with a free trial.
Until you have a subscription, Atom does not send any email. Everything else keeps working, so you can write your playbook and add prospects first.
What a plan includes
Each plan includes a number of new prospects each month and a number of sending mailboxes, and sets how many people can use Atom and how many emails it sends a day. Mailbox caps and warm-up limits still apply on top, so a new mailbox starts slowly whatever the plan.
A new prospect is someone Atom emails for the first time. They count once, in the month (UK time) of that first email. Follow-ups and replies to people already contacted never count. Billing shows how many you have used this month.
When you reach your allowance
It depends on your plan:
- Plans with a price for extra prospects: Atom carries on, and each extra new prospect is added to your next invoice at that price.
- Plans without one: first emails to new prospects wait until the 1st of next month. Follow-ups and replies to people already contacted carry on as normal.
Extra mailboxes work the same way: a plan either includes a price for each extra mailbox per month, or allows no more than the plan.
People
Each plan includes a number of people. Some plans let you add more for a monthly price per extra person: you can invite them straight away, and Billing shows how many you have. Plans without that price stop at the number included.
Add-ons
Some features are add-ons you pay for monthly on top of your plan:
- Win-back: Atom finds deals you lost and drafts a note to each person for you to approve.
- AI assistant sender: send as a named AI assistant, such as Atom or Tom.
- Meeting booking: Atom offers real times from your diary, books the meeting and sends a calendar invite.
An owner adds or removes them under Add-ons on Billing. An add-on works straight away and this month is charged for the days left; removing one stops it at once and Stripe credits the rest of the month. Without the booking add-on, Atom still replies to interested prospects and asks which day suits, for you to arrange.
A package set up for you
If Damteq has set up a package for your company, it sends your owner a link to the Billing page. The package is shown first, marked Set up for you by Damteq. Choose Subscribe and pay by card through Stripe; sending starts as soon as Stripe confirms. Only an owner can subscribe.
Meetings
Atom does not charge per meeting unless your plan says so. Where it does, a meeting is only charged once it has taken place and the time to flag it has passed. If a prospect does not turn up, or is not a good fit, flag it on the Meetings page within that time and it is not charged.
Changing your card, plan or invoices
Your latest invoices are listed on the Billing page, each with a link to view or download it. Choose Manage billing to update your card, change plan or cancel.
When you subscribe, Stripe asks for your billing address and, if you have one, your VAT number, so your invoices are correct for VAT. Sending domains Atom buys for you appear on your next invoice.
If a payment fails, Atom tells you in Needs you and keeps sending while Stripe tries again. Update your card so it does not stop. Atom also reminds you a few days before a free trial ends. If the subscription ends, sending stops; nothing else is deleted.
